Resting in the Liminal: A Yoga Nidra Series!
I am looking forward to gathering at The Rest Nest in Ypsi this winter in stillness and rest as we ascend from darkness. As we rest in the liminal, the inbetween of no longer and not yet. Within, through and together.
This energy of the liminal is so strong in my life right now, and for many whom I love & care about and in the collective. We are naturally at a threshold between dark and light and winter and spring. Perhaps, you find yourself at a sacred pause, a place of deep faith, grief, questioning purpose and identities, of deep mystery of what the eff? and the unknown & uncertainty. Honoring the wisdom of hindsight and possibility. A place where you feel something is about to happen and yet you feel stuck or not ready to make a move or can't. A place where you hold tight to what was but you know it doesn't matter because you can't hold onto the past, grip through change or the pull toward what is to come. "It is time to surrender not being the same anymore" (Melanie Ann Layer).
This threshold of the liminal is a healing space, one that ignites trust and putting down everything we knew before to be present for the sacred path of now and what is to come. To be protected and blessed when we do cross that threshold. When we rest in this timeless space we receive the answers already within us, we receive Hecate's wisdom at the crossroads, we receive the next moves, the next wise steps to our decisions, we build trust, safety, fortitude, and the knowing we will be ok no matter what the liminal is for us, no matter the next step. One thing we do know is that the liminal is here, it is now, it is this moment. When we allow what was to fall away, we stand more grounded in the beauty of this moment and the moments that unfold toward our not yet. Let's rest within these energetics.
Themes each week will vary based on the needs, intentions, deepening of the group. All practices will center some aspect of resting in the liminal: between dark and light, winter and spring, seed and sprout, the cocoon, incubation, aspects of change & ambiguity, compassion (ahimsa), forgiveness, fear, doubt and confidence, following our knowing, desires, and passion, heart-tending, transition, trust, grounding, root chakra energies/Muladhara, faith, the unknown, non-attachment and much more!
Even though it is a series, you can come to one or all or a couple. If you register for 2 or more at one time, or come back to register for more practices, I would like to offer you 25% off, please use coupon code 25OFF. No refunds. Transfers may be available for a different day of this series, please reach out to me.
